would buy as an upgrade after my oneplus 5t. sadly not available in italy (yet?)

sort by: page size:

I was waiting on this for so long, but ended up with a OnePlus instead, excited to finally see them released, it will be great for the Android ecosystem.

Yes I am very interested in this, but still waiting for a practical release :)

Also I'd have to buy a new phone, because mine isn't compatible :(

I think /e/ needs the Exynos version, which is much harder to come by in the US.

Either way, when I'm ready for my next phone i'm going to strongly consider /e/

It's there, buried in the specs page. Finally a successor to the OnePlus One, IMO.

Nice! Waiting for OnePlus One support.

I will probably get this when it becomes available. Especially if it has an unlocked bootloader.

Any reason to believe the same wouldn't go for OnePlus?

You might be interested to know that the OnePlus Two is supposed to come out in the next few months.

They upstream their changes and have a user-unlockable bootloader, which puts them ahead of approximately all of their competitors. Unfortunately they don't really seem interested in selling their phones in most English-speaking markets.

LG V20 is the phone I've been waiting for but it looks like it will not be sold in Europe. :(

Link?

I'd love this phone and would buy it but not before it is actually made.

looks like Oneplus One is on the list, or do you mean official OTA version? I have a feeling that's still month away.

One plus 6 support is looking pretty good. Give a few months and it may be a viable choice with decent specs.

It is pretty nice isn't it. Now can someone please make one with a nice metal case and the ability to run android on it. Then I can basically have my replacement for my much missed Nokia E71.

I have a first gen Pixel XL. Love this phone but the battery lasts 10 min so it's actually taped to power bank.

I have been waiting for this phone, but I live in Europe which will only be getting this somewhere mid September

I think I'll just give up and buy a OnePlus Nord

The issue is that every new Google phone is available in less and less countries. 5a looks like a good option to replace my current 3a, but it is impossible to officially buy it here in Europe.

I'm also interested in this, mainly for the battery life improvements.

Pretty sweet.

Sadly, the manufacturers take a long time to catch up to released Android versions. Almost makes users want to "wait a few months" before purchasing a phone.

I think Google needs to help those guys out so that they can get the releases earlier.

I was in a need of new phone and waited for P5 announcement with my final decision.

P5 is underwhelming if not disappointing.

In the end I am a happy owner of OnePlus Nord. Shame it lack slot for expandable memory but i got a bit over 200GB on it so it should last a while. And on paper it beats every Pixel in bang for money category.

Highly recommend it.
