I'm sorry to veer off topic but is anyone else infuriated that a brand new hard cover edition of this book is $13 (or as low as $7 from other sellers) but the Kindle version is $15? I don't even own a Kindle but that's ridiculous pricing.

sort by: page size:

Hardback: $14, Kindle edition: $18

:(

Are you looking at the Kindle version? Are you in the US? Might be a US-only price.

Am I the only one seeing these absurd prices for it?

Kindle $78.53

Hardcover from $197.00

Kindle: $143!!

This is so, so annoying. The Kindle version should never be higher than any dead tree version!

Also seeing $15.99 for the Kindle version.

Hardcover is $13.98, Kindle Edition is $16.77

And here's Amazon's Kindle edition, listed for me at $31.19:

I see Kindle price as $16.99, but that's still pretty ludicrous for a digital copy given the hardcover sale price...

As an aside, it's kind of bizarre the hardcover edition is cheaper than the ebook and paperback editions.

wait, where did you see this? kindle is 12.99 and hardcover is 16.95. Maybe international edition? Let me know so I can have the publisher look into this.

In the meantime, email me - j@onswipe.com. I'd like to send you a copy for free.

So I've heard other great stories from this book before, and I was curious how much it cost to actually get the book.

The book in it's latest incarnation is $295. What on earth?

I see $17 and $12 correspondingly for the kindle editions.

Just some feedback on your pricing: $50 is very steep for a kindle book, in fact I don't think I've ever seen a kindle edition so expensive. If this was around $20 I'd have bought it.

When I click through, the Kindle Edition costs $31.30.

I'd like to read that book, but the pricing... wow. On Amazon the cheapest new copy is ~ $138.00. And this is one of those cases that shows how goofy pricing for marketplace sellers gets: the cheapest used copy is even worse, at a whopping $230.59. And that's for one in "Good" condition.

Probably all of these resellers are using some brain-dead stupid bot to set their prices for them. Too bad - if somebody was selling a used copy for, say, $75.00, I'd probably order it right now. Instead, it's going to sit in their store forever, because who would pay $230 for a used copy of a book, when they can get a new copy for $138.

SMH.

When I clicked through, the hardcover edition was priced at $13.98 while the Kindle edition was a dollar less ($12.99). I think that Amazon's prices change pretty frequently, which might explain why you saw a different price at the time you checked.

Surprising to me is that Amazon is charging more for the Kindle version than the hard cover of "Awakening Joy" ($19.34 vs $17.16): http://www.amazon.com/Awakening-Joy-Steps-That-Happiness/dp/...

Hardback edition $200

Kindle edition $100

Empty slipcase with fake spines to impress your friends $50

> And the companies or individual offering paper copies still charge $20 – $30!

$20 for the official version (see the book's web page for a link). That is, essentially, the price of printing and binding.
