Why? Is there evidence that were in on the criminal conspiracy? All I've heard it they were victims of it

Do you have any source at all for the idea that they committed a crime?

Do you perchance know if they ever caught the perpetrators or discovered their motives? A quick Google doesn't seem to show much and the article didn't seem to have details either

Did they ever find out who the masterminds were and were they charged criminally? I couldn't tell from the article.

It's not so strange. Conspiracy to ____ is often shown before the individuals participating in the conspiracy. In this case there was evidence galore of illegal drug trade, so it became a matter of finding the individuals responsible.

Can someone summarize what is alleged to have happened, including names of those involved? It's a pain to piece together all the fragments of information.

There was suspicion that they were doing that kind of thing. There wasn't proof.

I read the article but I am more puzzled now. Can they go deeper why these two accused of doing something like this? Motivation? How they contacted the agents etc.

Was this an ongoing case everyone knows?

Did they say anywhere what their motive was?

Who is conspiring in this case?

To my knowledge that is unambiguously illegal and I hope they band together to get justice. Were they aware of others in shared circumstances?

As someone who is entirely out of the loop, can you list out these crimes with some sources? Thanks!

'accomplices' to what crime?

Just to be clear: what we are looking at is a concerted and coordinated criminal conspiracy to cover up a range of activities including murder.

Maybe because the whole thing was fabricated by corrupt law enforcement agents?

Nice find. I wonder what they were guilty of?

Where are you seeing that they are going after individuals criminally?

I did read the article, and it says nothing of the sort. Just that they're not ruling it out.

Do you have a source for that? Because the story as told seems vanishingly unlikely. Maybe nothing could be proven but that they were there illegaly?

The guy who sent the mob to the capital to start the whole conspiracy in action?? Are you being glib? Yeah, there's evidence. Maybe look in to the court documents for the 90+ felonies he's been charged with? Or idk, anything he has said about it? You have to be willfully sticking your head in the sand at this point or one of the cult members. Hope it's the former.

Interesting that you would ask that because as I was reading the article I kept thinking that it's beneficial to the US government to stop prosecuting these things due to two reasons.

1) Maintaining a facade of complete denial. 2) Not giving credence to the idea that there were two people willing to rat out their government due to what they had seen, so as to maintain the possibility that it was just a lone rogue.

But this is just my external perspective, as a european who never set foot on US soil.
