IIRC they have a pretty easy to use API but as far as data dumps (according to a quick search and http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/sample_records_avail.html) it appears they only provide XML whereas the current code requires XML.
Thank you! I actually haven't, but I wouldn't mind having the data completely public. I just don't know technically how to do that yet, although I will put in in my "to dos" :)
I'm disappointed that we haven't heard much from the 5,000 people on Scoble's list. I'm sure at least one of them considers the stuff he downloaded to be "theirs".
Along those lines I think any XML for this should have plenty of attributes to track exactly who entered the data along with its redistribution terms. It should at the very least have the flags described here: http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=95078
What data is collected? Currently, the screenshots of the README don't show anything. Instead, the author just says there are some remote capabilities and the details will be posted in a future report.
If you know what the author is referring to, can you link the relevant files so we can take a look at them?
