So true, we take the complexity for granted. It's actually a really hard problem.

We don't realize how complex a lot of the simple things are.

In principle, it's simple. In reality, it gets complex and hard.

You are right, it's always more complex than it seems on first glance.

It's also a huge amount of complexity.

Kind of silly title. I think complexity makes anything more difficult.

What's that complexity that you are implying?

Every time I've thought a task to be easy, it always has some sort of hidden complexity that I didn't think about.

Yes, it's complicated.

The problem is it's not simple.

Simple is harder than complex, as always.

It's insanely complex - one of those problems that is easy to state and nearly impossible to solve (which means there's opportunity here).

You're assuming that all complexity is tractable (especially with that lawyer remark). Some things are just hard or time consuming.

Some things really are complex. Most things really do require understanding.

Definitely not simple. If it was simple we would have solved it already!

Some complexity is essential, and not everything is easy. Pretending otherwise is a great way to end up sorry.

Unless we simplify it significantly, it's surprisingly hard to do. And completely irrelevant anyway.

"Like it’s got to be much more complex than we imagine."

That is, how it usually is ..

well said.

Its difficult making complicated things seem simple.

It's at least as complicated as all of mathematics, in the worst case.
