That's fair. I feel the same way about your moribund federal waste meme.

How is it a meme? The govt gets to play with essentially unlimited funds. Is it a wonder that they rarely spend it efficiently? Is it also a wonder that they never actually lower overall taxes?

There should be a recycle redemption tax on memes so there's an economy to pickup outdated, displaced and discarded memes for their return value.

It's not a meme. Garbage collected language just can't be used for certain things.

I absolutely love the variation and thought that goes into many a meme these days.

Bad memes are awful (Sturgeons law), but a good meme is cheap fun that I can consume in a second

I cringe at image macros and other internet memes, but I'll tolerate any marginally original silliness.

I don't always reuse dead memes, but when I do, I stay on Reddit.

wow. so people are this ignorant of memes. you must be incredibly productive.

That also irked me. I like memes probably more than the next guy, but the way it's been used here seems distasteful.

Nah. I know the memes, but payments is far too core to throw out.

I don’t mind seeing a quality dank meme resurface every once in a while. Scumbag Steve pops up in my life frequently!

The government doesn't belong in the bedrooms of the nation, but somehow should decide which meme graphics two adults can share online. Lets Go Brandon.

I am not universally interested in all memes, but I liked this particular one. Also, it isn't content-free, it exists for a reason.

I have seen the word "meme" enough for a while.

The meme market agrees with you.

The ad nauseam repetition of memes like "considered harmful" or "unreasonable..." is too much.

it is.

for me, memes were part of rehabilitating political views I might have never considered as legitimate otherwise

Memes disgust me

I'm just tired of seeing memes on places of "serious business," as bti points out.

What kind of broken logic can conclude that this is the extent of my “scope” from what I said? An easier conclusion to arrive at is that I figure it’s one of the few memes we probably have in common, and chose it because memes are an excellent source of connotations.
