It's insane to me how fast this is moving. I jumped through a bunch of hoops 2-3 days ago to get this running on my M1 Mac's GPU and now it's way easier. I imagine we will have a nice GUI (I'm aware of the web-ui, I haven't set it up yet) packaged in an mac .app by the end of next week. Really cool stuff.
The first load is fairly slow, but once it's done it every load after that is pretty much identical to what it'd be running on an x86 mac due to the caching it does.
I'd love to make such a benchmark, but I won't because I don't have enough money to justify buying a Mac. If you send me one I'll port the rendering engine over and do the benchmark, though.
It's an absolute cracker. I'd probably pay for it on iOS, but I'd pay more on the mac... it's really fluid and beautiful. No bugs for me. MBPi7(2.8) 13" 16GB.
