This seems like a mischaracterization of the parent comment and some self serving logic.

Seems like a by your own logic comment here.

The comment you're replying to at least attempts to use actual logic statements.

As some other commenters have stated, I'm not really following your logic.

That's some specious logic, at best.

How can you honestly think that after reading this thread?

The parent comment may or may not be correct (I honestly don't know), but author makes it really, really clear what his logic is, and it's nothing like it.

If you came to such a conclusion, it means that you skimmed through the comments above in 2 seconds, and not even trying to understand what was actually written.

It is, this was a poorly thought out comment on my part, and after re reading it, it's a bad/illogical argument.

Yes. That is what he is saying. What's the problem with that logic?

This is bad logic, and so is your comment upthread, IMHO.

I don't think that's actually the same logic at all.

Your comment shows you don't know much about logic.

That's not really how logic works. Lame straw man.

Care to explain that logic? It seems a bit unreasonable to me.

By what logic is that? I do not see any logic anywhere here that would imply any such thing.

No, what he's saying is valid logic. Somewhat pedantic though!

Your comment is nonsense. You think you're using logic but you're not making any sense.

Both halves of your sentence work but collectively the logic you've inferred is questionable...

I thought that was one of the more insightful lines in the piece.

Perhaps you should take the time to refute the logic.

I was surprised to see a comment like yours. If you can't be bothered to make a reasoned comment, then don't write anything.

I think you've got the logic other way around.

You've used correct logic but you missed the point OP was trying to convey.
