How do you know this?

sort by: page size:

My guess is that he knows, and posts anyway. I have come across this a few times.

> a link to your comment in his Discord

TIL I have a Discord.

I think he gets notifications when his name is in comments/posts.

Hi @dang, can you see this?

> he appears to be so often in a really bad mood when posting

With admiration: https://xkcd.com/386/

Just click on his profile and view his comment history. You won't find the examples lacking

I'm not 100% sure if behind the scenes he has some sort of @dang webhook alert/filter or if he skims comments regularly

I looked through his comment history, and it's true! :)

> Very weird.

Not weird.

He found a way to make himself sound important on the internets and therefore clings to it.

> He's been remarkably open every time he's changed user content

I have no stake in this story, but how could you, or anyone, possibly know that?

You should follow all his comments. He's like this all the time. It's a little freaky.

You can see for yourself. click on his profile and look at his comment history.

He's shared the fact on this site more than once.

If he is in any way annoyed or harmed by my sharing it, I hope he will let me know.

> some of it was years ago

Check his post history, he's still doing it. (I don't remember his current username otherwise I'd post links)

Welcome to yuhong, he's famous for this on basically every comments page I've seen him on

Does RTM frequent these boards?

Assuming this is the real rtm, then he has an account, but he doesn't comment very often.

This person believes that you should follow his rules.

This person believes that even if you clearly don't follow his rules, he will evaluate your content based on how much your behavior would indicate that you value you them if you did follow his rules. o_O

This person values presentation over content.

There are plenty of people on earth like this. Its good to know they exist. But lets not spend any more time discussing them.

For several years he made this post every working day:

inane comment showing strong naivete

copypasta

copypasta

Confident summary with conclusive statement
displaying no comprehension of the quoted text

Buy a Visual Studio Plugin from my sponsor!

Looking at his/her post history, he/she does but rarely discloses it.

i'd point out that this is pretty common for his posts.
