It's not "malicious", its the assumption that he gets to act like that. What they need to do is prove that he behaved in a way that was inappropriate. It sounds like there's plenty of evidence that he did - hell, they had enough evidence to record, in writing, that they found the claims against him credible.
The difference between him and the people that they did fire was his position. Which is entirely backwards - the penalties for criminal behaviour should be higher for people with more power, not less.
Sorry to point this out, but the fact that he did nothing to prevent the law abuse while he was an employee there speaks volumes about his moral compass.
It's not unreasonable. It may be stupid, but criminals do stupid things all the time. Someone has to be first. Turning the investigation over to the authorities to investigate is also reasonable.
What's disappointing is that his company didn't stand by him during the investigation, especially since he reported it.
I can't believe he had the nerve to go on the record after being specifically told what he was planning was illegal once again on public record and then re-iterate his original threat. So not only the no hire thing, but basically extortion to get Palm to comply?
Any last shred of respect I had for the guy just evaporated.
He is also being harasser directly by the swatters.
>He says they have stalked and impersonated him, defaced his home, and continue to send a daily avalanche of abusive phone calls, voicemail messages and emails.
Agreed, somebody who is willing to commit a crime to advance their fringe political views is not somebody I want anywhere near my company. I can already imagine the headaches this guy will cause if he discovers the meat in the cafes was not farmed to his liking.
No one is suggesting we throw him in jail for being involved in a fucking KKK drive-by shooting, just that maybe he not run _a fucking surveillance company_.
