sort by: page size:

Maybe not if it was chess boxing...

And with chess boxing, it's both. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess_boxing (Yes, chess boxing is a thing.)

I thought this had something to do with the world chess championship though this is cool too.

Could be chess.

I thought I might be good at chessboxing until I saw the champion. http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/84863-World-Chess-...

chess?

I misread this as US CHESS Federation.

Ah, you start with the boxing round then.

I read this title thinking it was gonna be about chess. /facepalm I need to go to sleep.

Who's who and who won? Couldn't tell from clicking through (never played chess)

Chess boxing is a thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess_boxing

Anyway, every one-on-one sport makes a reference to "human chess."

I was hoping this would be a team sport:

- Each team consists of a chess player and up to 16 boxers

- When one piece captures another, their corresponding boxers fight each other

- The winner of the bout determines which piece is removed from the chess board
