There's a whole multibillion dollar company responsible.

sort by: page size:

The companies spend an enormous amount of money lobbying to ensure that this sort of thing doesn't happen, so yeah, they're culpable.

You mean that the companies making insane margins and paying top compensation are exactly the ones responsible for most of this this since they're massively profiting from monetizing consumers through various dark patterns, ads and spying?

Shocking! Who would have thought? /s

Billions is a joke when they're paid trillions.

These companies are out of control

EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND LISTEN. SOME COUNTRY SAID SOME MASSIVE CORPORATION DID SOMETHING.

It's massive collusion by companies on a country wide scale.

These companies are responsible for creating a catastrophe on a global scale. We might literally go extinct because of them. All their assets should be seized to repair the damage, and people responsible should be tried for crimes against humanity.

These are very large corporations with very large profits to protect. It's awful to think about but not surprising in the least.

Yeah, sure, the richest company in the world is going after your petty money with this.

It's expensive to make big companies pay for their misdeeds.

this whole thing just made me wake up to how much control that company has over something that's supposed to belong to those who buy it!!

where do you think one of the largest company in the world go their money from exactly?

They're already extracting more than enough profit from all of us at this point it's just pure toxic greed

Corporation are really the ones responsible for what you mention as they lobbied for all of these not to happen for profit’s sake.

And they won at that game.

it’s all going to big corporations

Companies are just a group of people. Companies don't do anything, people do and then use companies to try and shield themselves from blame.

Yup, I'd like to know it too. Everything I saw or read confirms that they're one of the most benevolent big companies ever, and yet for some vauge reasons they are called evil.

You're still missing the part where a not for profit literally turned itself into a multi billion dollar for profit company and no ones been held accountable.

And who do we have to blame for that? Other big corporations who optimize shareholder value over people's well being.

It is wrong to blame a company for people's evil.

Hard to feel any sympathy for these trillion dollar companies.

I'm sick of it all. Large corporations have way too much power in our world.
