Such is the level of weird Musk devotion around that up to the last line, I thought this was serious. I'm still not _100%_ sure...

sort by: page size:

In context, he wasn’t being completely serious, IIRC. I think that was one of a list of fairly comic possible explanations for Musk’s recent behaviour.

Though, it’s probably as good an explanation of his nonsense as any, really.

What is this in reference to?

Edit: oh, I see, never mind. I don't follow Musk much.

It's some form of typical Musk charlatanism, that's for sure.

This seems like it's probably not real, but it's very telling that I'm not 100% sure.

It's unimaginable that any other company would do this, but a Musk company? Hard to say. His sense of humor is certainly not... universal.

is this a joke or not. Hard to say when discussing musk

> if you believe musk

Ah, well, that's the rub, isn't it?

See https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36658486

It's a Musk thing; not sure why you necessarily expect it to make any sense.

That is questionable even by Musk standards

Maybe the guy is really losing it

I read that as a troll to bite back at Musk's humorous posts of the last couple of days.

It's just trolling. Musk knows people will write about it (positive, negative, whatever).

What did Musk actually say here? I have great trouble trusting TechCrunch's interpretation of them, and they don't quote him on that specific bit.

Does this mean Musk was right?

You're right it might well be true.

Although Musk doesn't really always act rationally :p

Musk says lots of nonsense. I wouldn't believe him just because he says something.

I mean, it wouldn't surprise me if that's true, but it's pretty risky just taking Musk's word for it.

First impression reading the headline was that Musk is even more impetuous than I’d thought.

I'm way past the point where I will believe Musk at his word.

Perhaps this was just a PR stunt for Musk?

I wonder sometimes what goes on in those peoples' heads.

I thought they were talking about Musk…

You are assuming that everything Musk says is genuine.
