Of course, your wife is absolutely right. Science has proved that men can get pregnant. They just need to have a uterus implanted, and voila! They can experience the joys of pregnancy just like women. In fact, men are known to handle pain better than women, so they can do a better job at it too. Congratulate your husband on his pregnancy!

I gave it an incendiary question and was surprised by its response.

Modern medicine allows it. It's no longer a question of perception - it is possible to be a man and be pregnant, literally.

Lol it's both. Men don't get pregnant

If a man has a functional uterus, he can get pregnant. Some transmen have functional uteruses, therefore they can get pregnant.

There are many people who don't know the difference between a transman and a transwoman. If you say a transwoman can't get pregnant, then you're right. If you say a transman can't get pregnant, then you're factually wrong, there's been quite a few.

It's obviously not the same. A man does not physically get pregnant.

It’s 2020. Men can get pregnant.

> The overwhelming majority of men can't get pregnant.

Human males obviously can't get pregnant, only human females.

"From the people that bring you 'men can get pregnant', we present to you..."

> Some men can be pregnant

Only if you define man in a way such that any person can claim manhood.

Men don't get pregnant. A man and two women can give birth to 10 children (5 each). A woman and two men cannot do the same.

Men can not be pregnant, that’s what makes them men

Transgendered men can become pregnant, yes. Literally.

As long as you don't say "Men can't get pregnant!!"

A man is an adult male human. Getting pregnant is proof that a person is not a man.

The implication that women can get pregnant but that men cannot is deeply harmful and transphobic. Please reconsider your assertion.

Pedantically some (trans) men can get pregnant.

Downvotes for pointing out something that has happened: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Beatie

One male can make dozens of women pregnant. If you go back in time far enough, you'll see that most women had offspring in their lives, while the same certainly isn't true of most men.

I'll be on the male's side here because I am one: my wife and I haven't been able to conceive, going on 5 years trying now. I wish there was more (maybe any?) support for males going through this.

A lot of efforts focused on women are popping up, which is nice, but it still has a profound mental affect on men.

We're not talking 95%/5% here, more 99.99995 / 0.00005%.

And trying to even argue that men cannot be pregnant is even doing too much. It is as insane as trying to "debate" whether the earth is round.

A man cannot get pregnant. This is not something that any medical advance can change.
