Bard is honestly fine, I think? It wasn't particularly impressive when they first rolled it out, that probably had a significant impact on peoples' perception.

Nothing is as good. Bard is quite good but not the same.

I used bard a fair amount today. It's pretty bad compared to ChatGPT. I would basically never use it.

Sometimes Bard is helpful. it's not nearly as reliable at doing something useful but it's much less likely to be unavailable and goes much faster, so I've started trying things there first and move on if it's useless.

as a google swe I find bard almost useless. it doesnt understand any of our internal tooling or context.

Infact it's just bad to the point of not really worth using. It gets basic facts wrong and often times misunderstands what I'm trying to ask it.

The response speed of Bard is much better in my experimentation. The creativity of the output on Bard is lacking, though.

I've been using Bard since it came out. Its trajectory, in my opinion, has been "pretty shitty" ? "pretty good" ? "completely shitty".

In my experience, bing accuracy mode and phind are very usable, certainly not perfect but mucht better than Bard.

Doesn't matter—it's already available on Bard and it's not good.
