How that is not standard for the last 10 years is baffling.

That standard is pretty new and people are used to the old way.

That's non-standard.

I really wonder what is up with that. These standards become increasingly frustratingly complex even for people who deal with them daily.

It's very hard to believe that this wasn't already standard.

That's not standard.

I think the sad part is that it isn't common practice and a standard has to be made.

That’s not standardized at all, though.

Whoa, that seems like so much more work to manage and use than the current standard.

Oh this is a huge pet peeve of mine, it's unbelievable.

Granted, a lot of work goes into these standards, and they don't come out of nowere, still

Right, but it isn't standard yet still.

That seems like an arbitrary standard

Well, it's pretty complaint to standards now. The problem is that it's just 2-3 year old standards.

And standards don't adapt? To me this feels wrong and backwards

That's not much of a standard.

That standard is too arbitrary and stringent.

It's almost as if the standard of what is standard changes drastically as the world does.

Who decided that this is somehow a standard?

Starting to?

It's been pretty standard for over ten years... (I'm in the UK, I have no idea how our market compares to yours)

Why does any one thing have to be a "standard"? That's part of the problem.
