My account was 13 years old on Reddit. I just deleted it.

Just reactivated my 8 year old account and deleted it permanently. Long overdue!

This just supports my decision to delete my 13+ year old Reddit account.

I deleted my 15 year old account because of that.....it was tough, but it was so far gone from what it was that it wasn't really a loss to say goodbye.....

Reminded me to finally delete my account of... 15 years!!! Good riddance.

Just deleted my 10 year old reddit account. Thanks for helping me break the addiction, Steve Huffman.

After 13 years I recently deleted my entire account. I have more time and I have less admin. I will miss messages from old acquaintances but that's ok.

closed my user account after 10+ years.

Feels good.

Ha, I'm glad I deleted my account

I deleted my Reddit account of over ten years over this. No going back.

Awesome. This is a perfect excuse to delete my 10+ year old Deviant Art account.

I just logged in to my oldest Reddit account. It was opened in 2006. I have kept it around just to be able to read some of the posts I made over the years. I'll delete those now, close the account, and move along. I have had so much fun but I think the time is right for a change.

I have deleted my reddit accounts a few months ago. One of the best decisions.

I deleted my reddit account, a 10 yr old account - saw a bunch of others doing the same. Hopefully they get the message - better yet, hope they RECEIVE the message in the form of karma.

Amusingly, I just deleted my account for wholly unrelated reasons last week.

I feel the same way, deleted my account about 5 years ago and dont miss a thing.

This is the point I got to when I realized I should no longer have an account and I just went ahead and deleted it.

For about 6 months after, I thought I would reactivate and jump back in but it's been years now and I'm 100% sure it was a life improvement.

I deleted it a few years ago. Before doing so I unrated myself from everything, unliked everything, replaced all my posts and comments to just an underscore, then deleted each post and finally the account.
