I would like to know how they determined the price point. IMO, with such a name, they should be targeting higher end customers. People willing to shell out $50+ or $100+ for a specific task..... Or $15000 a la Transporteur
Well, but what do you think they did after they named their price? I'd guess they hired a bunch of people, and their expenses came up to match what they could charge.
Thanks for the clarification, I mis-understood the pricing table. The total would then be ~$50USD, still a unpleasant price (NB. I don't think the price is unreasonable for the service, just something "hidden" in the blog post: If it was closer to $20USD, it would be less of a shock.)
Can we find out how much it costs, or do we just have to trust that the quoted price for the task isn't too much above actual cost? Or does it not have any service fees? The site is really vague about pricing.
Can you provide details on what categories the billing would also cover? I'd imagine it would be flights, hotel rooms, equipment, transportation, meals, remote offices, etc.
There are many people who would call $2500 their two day rate. So, $10k+ doesn't seem that far fetched for a project of this complexity that delivers business value of some sort.
One other important detail: the target spend would be in the $10 range (obviously the customer acquisition cost will be strongly related to the target spend)
