It is 44x44 on my computer. Absolutely massive.

sort by: page size:

I've converted it to jpg and it's now 448K :)

Yeah, complete fuck up. You click "open image in new tab" and than this…

But saving it work at least. Than you need a large screen. :-) It's 7,763 × 4,684 pixels.

You guessed correctly, the image is an extraordinarily large png (1050x1364, 250kB).

1.6GB on 64-Bit Chrome on Windows as well - http://imgur.com/im0YFhw .

Holy crap you're right, that was a VERY large image, fixed: 18.5MB -> 21KB

Haha...the original is 12MB. I reduced it to 1MB...it's hard to keep the details if the image is any smaller...

P.S. The big background image is only about 49kb...

That image is only 17.6 kB.

Anyone have the gigabyte size image of this?

Must be big, I see that the full-sized render is 2000x2400: http://www.digizyme.com/images/pf_cstlandscape_full.jpg?crc=...

175,000 lines x 40,000 columns of a 16x20 pixel image.

That's a pretty impressive optimization in the browser, I'm fairly sure I don't have that much RAM.

Also it's a 512x512 .png file :-).

I clicked on the image directly viewable on the site:

F1.medium.gif 314x440

it downloaded to

F1.large.jpg 1050x1470

I'm using Chrome FWIW

Super huge image alert!!

Hot mother of God can you please use your hacker skills and compress that image. It's nearly 1.5 megs

Scroll down to the bottom... it goes up to 40MB.

you should use a smaller image at the beginning of the article, it's 6mb (5184x3456)

The image dimensions are 1120x13800, so it's 59MB uncompressed in memory.

How come? It's quite clear. Did you try downloading the image? It's a relatively big one

Not what you're asking but I noticed that the top background image is huge (over 6 MB).
