Yes - or rather you have more control over what you decide to let it track.

More control, more data, better tracking.

But it also makes tracking much easier, right?

Yes that makes the life easier. Tracking is always pain in the a*. This could make a huge difference.

Yes but also tracking.

And be able to track it all as well? Absolutely.

My thesis is that if you care about being tracked enough that you'd want to turn it off, you're also technical enough to do it.

I may be wrong.

So more tracking basically.

Perhaps it's not the tracking itself that we care about, but control over when it occurs and by whom.

Probably, I had no idea there was a tracker support, never seen any option to control it.

"We change the way we track you"-mode?

Not at all. You're disabling the tracking and data aggregation elements in lieu of a static option which may or may not be accurate.

Easier tracking?

To track 'em better?

You will have the option to enable tracking. We won't all have to see it the same way now. Those of us who don't see it your way will no longer be tracked involuntarily.

Yeah that also tracks

> but allows for far more tracking and precious data collection

I think you answered your own question there.

Do you realise the kind of tracking that entails?

I much prefer that to being tracked.

Like a tracker?
