I don’t think anyone here can produce that information, tax records are private, right? We’d also need to know what percentage of our taxes go to cleaning up carbon emissions, which I think is… pretty low?
If you want to go down this road you should be looking at % of income spent on carbon taxes.
Maybe some “carbon allowance” would then be afforded so the lower income people that qualify could claim a deduction on their personal income tax return.
If the intention is to implement a carbon tax, I see no way of doing so without some relatively accurate measure of carbon output. Without that you are taxing not carbon but instead something else.
