Dunno, it feels very diluted nowadays to me.

Probably more about its dwindling presence, and even when it's still used in some industries it's nowhere near the spotlight levels it had before I think.

Agreed, it's just not quite the same now.

I'm the same boat. I am now very rarely in any kind of state of flow (maybe once every few months) and it feels more shallow than it used to be.

Whatever it is, people are getting far less of it.

Not much is, anymore.

It's a lot less good than it used to be.

I agree--there's something--I don't know, "disposable" or "fadish" or "bland" about the feel of the new one. It seems to have lost personality.

I had the exact same impression. It has become so watered down and superficial.

10 years ago I would've agreed with you but now it feels different, also bland and cheap. Like what set it apart from their competitors has eroded.

It's still good compared to the rest, but it's not nearly as good compared to its past self. You can almost taste the regression, and it's not the linear one.

Honestly, it grew better for me. It's not reasonable and focused nowadays.

The distinction between the two has certainly gone down though (by quite a bit IMO). This feels like boiling a frog.

Yeah, it seems like the whole idea really got watered down somewhere along the line.

Right? It just doesn't feel the same anymore and I don't know why

I think that distinction has pretty much been smashed over the last couple of years.

It used to be a lot better.

OK, so I'm out of touch. That's for sure how it used to be.

It seems like that technique no longer works.

No, it's not gotten worse, just more constrained and... fuzzy and blurry.
