All Teslas are "vision-based" now. They no longer use the RADAR even in cars that have it.
This is probably so they can have only one software build rather than supporting one with and one without RADAR. And also so that they can say the RADAR isn't needed anyway.
Their radar removal was baffling. There were rumors (perhaps Musk's tweets?) of Tesla investigating 4D imaging radars to replace their really old Continental radars, but they suddenly decided to remove it altogether. Many have attributed it to chip shortage and yet again Musk using vision-only as an excuse for removal.
Tesla dropped radar because they are moving to vision only systems like how the Comma AI/OpenPilot works. Vision models are superior to radar since radar can't detect stopped obstacles.
