I think he means the equivalent of a "digg this" button."

Digg the name says it all.

Digg and stumble upon are the most important weapon of a Blogger.

Digg is a social bookmarking site which give us the power to reach to people who share the same interest.

So here is the list of most comprehensive tools for all diggers.

This:

"Digg is developing a smart suggestion system that will consider the type of stories a user has dugg previously then suggest similar stories based on that history."

So, Digg?

Thats a good suggestion, thanks! ps - got any links to the digg examples?

lol. Did you read the article? It's from a publisher's perspective, not a bookmarker's.

Just FYI: Neither Digg nor Reddit are only used to boost traffic either. Apparently social media marketing is off your radar.

Wasn't this the same mechanic behind Digg?

I was not aware of either of these things, having written off digg a long time ago. I'm going to definitely check both out.

Yup. See Digg.

i go to digg, click on some link, see a new page. so what is this diggbar? (hey, don't look at me strange, i use reddit..)

On the other hand, there's Digg.

I'll have to remember the term "Digg-a-book-apedia-r site".

I haven't used Digg in years - I like that the interesting links are reposted here, because they're, well, interesting.

Digg is also valuable for the page views it creates on other sites as well.

Digg?

Digg ?

Digg?

Digg?

Though I'm still pretty new to news.YC, I think another appropriate and parallel question is this: Does news.YC want to be Digg?

I've seen quite a bit of replication of content across news.YC/Digg/Reddit. Can't we pretty much assume that news.YC readers also peruse Digg and/or Reddit aswell? I do.
