Money and human resource are what make up a company. They give that, and they put their name behind it in support. What else could they do?

Companies are always willing do do anything in their power to attract good employees, short of raising wages.

Companies are often filled with humans. It’s a human thing.

Indeed, if your company has freedom and responsibility to the core many things are possible.

Some employees probably feel that they can help move things in a better direction.

As an employee you can also have a positive effect on the outcome of the company.

They can recognize the best people. And give time and value to all employees.

You can control how good a job you do, but when you invest in your employing company you're also investing in the job all your co-workers do, and more importantly in the expectation that your customers will keep wanting to, and be able to, do business with all of you.

Diversify.

Paying employees better hourly rate, improve work conditions, and provide them chances for self-improvement. They could even hire homeless people and provide them temporary accommodation. There are tons of ways

And recruiting - it builds mindshare in the people you employee.

Or you could work hard and gain respect and become invaluable to the company.

Employees also have a much broader pool of employers to pull from.
