Maybe the parent doesn't know you?

*parents _don't_ have access

This is not mentioned by the parent.

No, it's because suddenly their parent is ignoring them for no reason they can understand.

Why don't you ask the parent of the parent?

Exactly. Perhaps parent has lost it.

Parent probably means "new to me".

Same in the US. I think parent is maybe not a parent. :)

I think the point is the parent doesn't want to fill out the form...

Doesn't mean parent isn't aware of the topic or hasn't heard about it from somewhere else.

Many who are parents know. Some don't.

Her parents probably don't know that.

This is true. However, the parent didn't specify who the person was or where he lived. So while unlikely it is still possible.

Do you actually have any kids? Because that is not in the slightest true.

Even very young babies recognize both parents and expect different things from them.

What if their parents aren't very much alike?

wrong parent?

You don’t know that. Maybe parent is a judge.

That's not what parent means. Parent means there are humans that speak, why can't you understand some of them.

Things it got wrong: my parent status

It got my parental status wrong as well (at least I'm not aware of any kids!). However several of my twitter friends are parents and we've discussed their kids on severe occasions, I wonder if the algorithm is misinterpreting those connections and conversations.

"I normally never visit it"

Therein lies the problem :) It doesn't matter if the parent visits it, if no one else does.
