I like Obsidian too, but the one thing it really can't do that Notion does well is collaboration. And surprisingly I haven't seen any good plugins that solve this problem (to be fair it's not an easy problem).
I've been using Obsidian for a while and have some plug-ins, but nothing like you're talking about. Would you make some specific recommendations on the plug-ins you're referring to?
Obsidian is great but I haven't had much luck with plugins. They often break after upgrades and most are not maintained. Perhaps that will change after the 1.0 release, at least the breaking problem
I'm not sure if that is available out of the box, I haven't seen it if it is. But the killer feature of Obsidian is the community plugin ecosystem. I would be surprised if a plugin isn't available soon so make this happen.
Obsidian is very different from Notion, I wouldn't call it an alternative. And all the plugins which try to replicate some Notion-features, are not really on pair in terms of quality, and seem to be mostly dead anyway.
Hm, I am trying to consolidate my toolchain these days. This is neat, but not 'I need another program running / another website in my life' neat. If you make an Obsidian plugin, I'd happily pay for that.
It's interesting, but honestly I prefer to stick with Obsidian. The biggest selling point is the huge collection of community plugins that vastly extends its capabilities, enable automation, and more fun things
