Hm, I wasn't able to replicate it. I'm using a Kali Linux VM. I'll try some other OSes and see if it works on there.

Just checked, its still Forth on my 12.X & 14.X box.

It looks like there's an option to use Lua but it doesn't appear to be the default, I'm taking a look to see how to enable it now.

Prism Launcher's MC 1.12.2 lwjgl-platform-2.9.4-nightly-20150209 has OpenAL DLLs with metadata dates of 2013/04/07.

Do you think simply repacking the DLLs in this jar and adding an `alsoft.ini` with `hrtf = true` would work? I'll try soon.

Edit: Looks like MC uses a paulscode OpenAL implementation dated 2010/08/24. Doesn't look trivial to replace.

4shared seems to be a bit shaky; it worked in Firefox on Windows, but not on Linux.

Turned out it defaults to Cascadia Mono, my bad. Still your argument is wrong, because, like it doesn't work on your machine, on mine it does.
