Europe is divided between countries deeply infiltrated by Russia and countries who can’t wait to escape and write their own futures. UK, Poland, Hungary will welcome fleeing capital. Brexit wasn’t the last exit.
With its anti-business attitude, tiny high-tech industry and lacking innovation and creativity, Europe’s importance in the world is vanishing fast.
The future is in Asia and Eastern Europe. And US, of course.
The denial is strong in the continent. I know this very well because that's where most of my family lives and where I spent nearly half of my life.
The EU gamble is going nowhere and this is a crisis that will affect us all, regardless of Brexit. It is what it is. Europe is decrepit and best case scenario is managed decadence into a third rate bloc. Russia and EE are screwed too, of course, but not because of self-doubt. Asia and the US will shoot ahead. But that's not really a prediction, it's been happening for a while.
Europe is in for a very long decline. There is no consumer generation (35-45 y/o) left in Europe, and the US is about to block Europe from exporting their excess production to the last standing consumer generation on the planet.
It's over for Europe either way. There's nothing we can do about it, we will get deindustrialized and all the industry and professionals moved to the US.
