A lot of this is actually caused by Google in benefiting observability of videos that are longer so they (google) can show more ads. You either get a 60 second short, or 10ish minutes. This leads content creators to stretch out their videos longer than they really should be.
If I recall correctly there's a certain length videos need to be to get adverts or to be monetised - something like ~10 minutes. So while this one is a little bit played out (maybe this happens to get an extra set of ads in the middle) the worst are when you have 2-3 minutes of information streeeeeetched out to 10 minutes.
I bought a UX course several years ago. Each video was over an hour.
The creator later redid all the videos, cutting them into shorter videos no longer than 9 minutes. He stated the reason was because this was one of the top requests from students.
The length of content on YouTube is a bit weird for me. I don't like Shorts, for multiple reasons, but length is one of them. It's hard to do meaningful content in less than one minute. Some are able to and make good stuff though. I also don't like 20 minute videos, because they seem to be mostly stretched to facilitate monetization and ads. 10 minutes is the sweet spot for me, but that's not longer viable for the creators.
Your https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcFQeimLH1c is a 4.5-hour video, the first 5 minutes of which shows a completely static video track with an audio track of a guy talking slowly.
Otherwise looks good.
