I signed in to Reasonwell. The page keeps refreshing in a way that scrolls me momentarily back to the top of the page. In Chrome.

sort by: page size:

When I visit this website it constantly refreshes itself over and over, making it impossible to scroll or even use reader mode

Is this only me or someone else also experiencing? The page keeps reloading and never stops.

I got a weird and similar problem. The page looked like it was just continually reloading parts (most) of itself, 2 to 3 times per second. I stopped if I clicked the stop button and all was well. Chrome for mac, normal config except 3rd party cookies blocked. Google Page Insights and YSlow enabled.

The page is also reloading every couple of seconds for me. I guess it has to do with some cookie being blocked.

I have noticed this too. It is annoying. I just refresh the page and it works fine.

The website is caught in a perma-reload loop for me (Firefox, macOS).

Nope, I'm waiting for the page to refresh on its own. My username stays in the upper right corner the whole time.

I "logged out" between viewing this comment and replying to it.

It's also broken for me on OSX Safari. I don't understand how I can be the only one with this problem on multiple browsers.

It happened to me too (Chrome, desktop), but after backing out and loading the page again it didn't stop at the spash screen. It seems as though the first load sets a cookie to indicate you've seen it on the first visit.

It also keeps changing discounts if you use a different browser and reload the page.

Totally off topic but the site has some sort of bug where it triggers a reload infinitely. When I loaded the site up it just endlessly refreshed the page by itself. Seems to be a conflict with some of my extensions because it was able to load fine in an Incognito window.

Might be your browser doing that.

any time I click back, and click the link a second time, it loads.

This webpage is causing Chrome to freak out for me, it keeps reloading, about 10 times a second and flickering. Anyone else?

EDIT: Seems to be the HTTPS Everywhere extension, trying to force an encrypted connection to Geek.net. Strange.

Hmm, must be the site, then. I'm using Firefox (with Ghostery, why do you say it doesn't have it?) and it refreshes for me as well.

Just so you know, I'm looking at this from my Android 4.1 stock browser and the entire page is blinking on and off randomly like some kind of joke. I can't scroll down because it seems as if it's constantly reloading itself.

Happens to me a lot, too. I just switch browsers and it stops.

Huh, sorry for that then. I used to get this all the time with TC, Engadget and a few other sites, but since turning JS off, it's stopped. Something else must have changed around the same time I tinkered with it.

That page seems to make Android Chrome hang.

Happens on Chrome as well. Approve location permissions and refresh.
