That’s pretty impressive. Any chance you can shed light on the feasibility of this for a standard high school dropout? Did you have certain luxuries from family or otherwise that made this possible?
I’m mostly asking to learn how the US system (assuming you’re in the US) supports folks taking this path.
I also dropped out of high school (and never bothered to get a GED; I went to college for a while and then dropped out to do a startup, so I've ended up with neither diploma).
It's kind of fun being able to put "high school dropout" on forms, while not being a deadbeat.
Can I ask where you are now in life? Im a high school drop out as well and have found it very tough to get back into things, crippling anxiety only driven further by lack of participation :/
That route usually requires some sort of high school diploma or equivalent. It's also exactly what I did. I don't regret leaving high school early because it was a real hellhole for me. For the record, it's also entirely possible to transfer to prestigious 4 year universities this route too. I'm planning on applying to Stanford and the like :)
Many of my friends also finished HS early or left in middle/high school to go to college. We're very proud to call ourselves high school dropouts. ;)
