I am not saying that marriage is bad for you. But, if the lack of peer pressure is the reason why you don't marry, then I dont want to be unlucky lady who might end up thinking you actually wants to be with her. Or unlucky dude if genders are reversed.

Don't get married. Marriage is a very tight coupling that is too easy to get into and too hard to get out of. You don't need it.

Marrying is irrational to begin with.

A man that relies on rational thought should avoid marriage; the cons absolutely outweigh any advantage.

As a happily married person I'd like to say: please don't get married. Integrity is important. If you do not mean the words, dont say them. Getting married and not making every effort to stay that way cheapens the concept for those of us who do mean it.
