Do you have a source for this? Everything I'm finding suggests that the Android app is not native, and last time I used it (a couple months ago), it definitely didn't feel native, and performance was sub-par.
They didn't, it's fully featured. In some ways it's even better than the Android app, more beautifully designed. They mentioned in their blog they'll be bringing much the same to Android soon.
They seem to be continuing to support Android and iOS. Their platform works great and they've continued to add features over the last year and in years prior.
