they are incorporated now. Trust them as much as you trust Samsung or Google. Or maybe less.

They are a public company now.

Right you are. As of 2014 at least. Before that they were publicly traded.

They're a public company now: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobileye

It's a public company.

It's a public company.

It's a publicly traded company.

Bought by Microsoft, but you wouldn't know they are affiliated with Microsoft by just looking at their site:)

I do not. As far as I know they are (and have been) a totally independent company since September.

It's a pseudo wholly owned subsidiary since a while, isn't it?

When who got acquired? Twillio? They're a public company, aren't they?

I don't remember their exact date. It's been a long time. They joined before IPO. My point was it was fairly long

Yes, we've transferred the ownership and it's obvious in the Google Play's dashboard, I triple checked. All the IP's belong to Riders App Inc, the domain etc. The company is properly structured.

Unity is a public company since September 2020. They did merge last year with a mobile adtech company called IronSource (which had also been public but became a part of Unity).

You keep saying that but they are literally sub companies of the same larger conglomerate. Their CEO and founder is the same person, he is also both of their primary shareholders.

They were acquired by Talend in late 2018, I think.

I'm not the parent author but they're both state sponsored enterprise.

I can't speak about wherever they're rebrands though, you'd have to take all their phones apart to figure that out.

> company was officially incorporated on August 28

It's a new company.

They bought the company last year (or the year before). Before that it was a university project and a support company.

Since they operate independently and likely have their own cash pile for stuff like this, the legal entity making the purchase is actually Oculus. Same with like Nest/Google AFAIK.
