If you like phantom, check out casper. It makes phantom much easier to use

I use Ghost. It's quite simple and clean.

I'm currently trying ghost. Once you dig into it it has a pretty neat templating system.

I've tried Substack, Buttondown, ConvertKit but I overall prefer Ghost(Pro).

I use Alacritty but I don't think it has any edge over Kitty feature-wise so I suggest sticking to what is already working for you.

I can recommend CTemplar, but I'm not sure what other features you are referring to, but it might be worth checking out.

Not really answering your question but you might have more luck with Kitty. Like Alacrity it's very fast but Kitty has a more features.

I'm a big fan of Mynt (http://mynt.mirroredwhite.com/) - it's very simple and easy to understand, but is powerful enough to do just about anything you need.

another one to look at is Nitro as well (just looked for an alternative based on Silhouette's comment below). here's a link to G2 for comparisons: https://www.g2.com/products/foxit-phantompdf/competitors/alt...

Not OP but I have been loving Krita. More intuitive interface with many of the same features.

Yes KittySplit is similar but in my opinion the UI is too confusing to use.

I've been looking at ProseMirror (mostly through tiptap2, which seems to wrangle it effectively) but taking the jump is daunting. I'd be interested in others' experiences.

I use Harmonic. I've tried both, Harmonic is more minimalist with less features but does the job well and was last updated in May.

Check out Prowlarr, it's much nicer and more feature-complete than Jackett.

Dashbird sounds cool, might need to check that out

Random, only slightly-related question: has any one used suckless' surf? I've seen it recommended by the hyper-minimalist nuts, but am more looking into it so I can tweak it easily. I figure it would be a lot easier than trying to slog through webkit, gecko, servo, blink, etc. as it is so much simpler.

Krita is good. I like that there are so many eraser buttons.

Also works great on android.

You might want to consider to add Ghost to the list of considerations as well. In terms of UX it's close to both Svbtle and Medium, but you get to keep your own data.

I recently discovered kitty[1], and I love it. It certainly doesn't have all the fancy nice-to-haves, but it is butter smooth, 256 color okay, and renders emojis nicely.

Raycast. It’s a joy to use and build extensions for.

Also Supabase, especially due to being open-source (but im still waiting for their dashboard to be on GitHub so I can fix a few pet peeves…)
