There's nothing on a privacy policy? Or maybe I just missed it?

Would be pleased to know my email address isn't going to be sold on :).

I don't see a privacy policy anywhere.

No Privacy policy on sign up...

Hmm, no privacy policy?

Where's the privacy policy?

No privacy policy at all? That's an absolute 'NO'.

No privacy policy is kind of a red flag. I mean I'm assuming this is a proof of concept / work in progress, but I also have to assume you're gonna want to monetize it at some point, so I want to know what you're gonna do with my e-mail address before I give it to you.

I couldn't find a privacy policy. What do I agree to if I submit my email?

no privacy policy?

No privacy policy?

No privacy policy?

No privacy policy seems available though.

There's also no privacy policy. Oops.

I don't see any kind of privacy policy link on the site, could one be added spelling out how the email address will be used?

I like that the submitted site has a "send me an email" link. I didn't see a privacy policy posted (that's usually de rigueur for a website that asks for personal information), so I sent a question asking what the privacy policy was for users who submit their personal address.

Edit for update: I received this answer to my question:

"The policy is that we don't do anything with it whatsoever.

-- Stephen Hallgren"

That might be a good thing to say explicitly on the site, with the usual "privacy" link text.

This was actually a website we prepared for investors; we weren't intending a public beta today! But the press found it, and so here we are. That's why you can't see a privacy policy.

In the absence of a written policy, we'll "treat users right" which roughly means we'll "treat users how we ourselves would want to be treated".

That's not particularly computable, so: the bodies of user's emails never leave the browser. We find email addresses in the browser, and send those back to our server to lookup. The emails themselves never touch our server.

I am always uneasy when i see a site wanting any of my info to sign up and they don't have a privacy policy anywhere. I know you just built this thing, and wanted to share it - but you want my email address and a password, you need to tell me what you will or will not do with this information. "No spam." doesn't count as a privacy policy. For the record, I really would love to try this service out.

I don't see a privacy policy anywhere on the website. Please add one.

I can't find a privacy policy and it's free so...

No privacy policy, no contact info?
