Bit unrelated, but this website crashes Chrome on my Android phone, crashes the WebView inside my HN reader app, and brings my aged netbook to its knees. Oh, and my company MBP's fans blast on full until I close the page.

What the fucking fuck is this thing doing with the RAM/CPU of my system? For heaven's sake, it's a load of text with a couple of pictures.

This site just caused Chrome to crash.

that page crashes my chrome.

wow that's the first time in years that a website crashed my entire computer (currently using a 1.3ghz dual core new macbook)

Apparently it crashes Chrome.

Yep, it crashed my Android browser and it's laggy as hell on Chromium 13 on a maxed out Macbook Air.

This reliably and repeatedly locks up and crashes my mobile embedded browser and its parent app, my HN reader (Materialistic). I've never seen a more aggressively crashing site in all my years... took me 6 tries to post this comment, only once I bypassed the linked article/site.

Wow... That site (continue.dev) managed to consistently crash my mobile google chrome.

I've had the odd crash now and again, but I can't think of many sites that will reliably make it hard crash. It's almost impressive.

Not sure if there's anything wrong with the page or not, but when I visited it locked up my machine and used a lot of RAM until Firefox killed the tab.

Warning: This page almost crashed my browser (FireFox on MacOS) and put my CPU on fire.

this page crashed my brower (android Chrome) lol

It crashed my browser too. Twice. Big tower-computer-thingy with a couple of meg-joules of RAM and Pewter web browser.

Thankfully, I was able to spot the problem after visiting the page with my lawnmower: http://i.imgur.com/4jnGv.png

The page makes my browser crash.

This website is crashing chrome. Congratulations!

The website caused my tab in Chrome on mobile to crash each time I tried to open it.

Heh, this managed to crash Chrome on my laptop.

This website crashes my browser hardcore

this site crashes my chrome tab if I have more than 5 tabs open with it.

Uh...should this have hard crashed a linux laptop running recent kernel and chrome?

EDIT: Not going back there, someone please let me know which Web* technology this is based on so I can disable it, it's outside my risk profile.
