Based on being ten minutes or less from a Wegman's, I'm going to guess Fairfax or Alexandria.

Wegman's are further south as well. There are multiple in Virginia (NoVa, Richmond, Charlottesville).

Probably Northern Virginia.

live in the fairfax area...

Mary Washington? That's about an hour outside DC, but the only place I can think of in VA that fits. I don't know the MD side very well, though.

I'll be more specific and say the DC area, either eastern Montgomery county, along the red or green line; or near the yellow line in DC or NoVa.

There are also a couple "java" locations in the middle of Virginia.

I'm in the fairfax area as well. We should def have something for NOVA seeing how traffic sucks going into DC

What brings you to Fairfax?

+1 for NoVa (I am in Arlington)

Haha yeah -- I live in Fairfax, and I did a brief double take (though B-17 implies it was a while ago).

Not sure of the OP's point, but when I saw Fairfax, first thing I thought of was Fairfax County: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairfax,_Virginia

Where is the converted WWalMart? I live in NoVA, but haven't seen or heard of it.

I live in the Northern Virginia area. Which is Washington D.C. metro.

I'm from Fairfax County, and my guess is that it will still be hard for you to explain to me how his location in Virginia is closer to DC than it is to Virginia.

You forgot the coffee shops in Langley, VA.

FWIW Fairfax County, VA is about as rich, white, and suburban place that you can find in the US.

I wholeheartedly disagree with that. Alexandria, maybe. But Fairfax County is pretty large: it encompasses Annandale, Springfield, and Centreville. Springfield has a heavy latino population, and Centreville and Annandale have like a 25% Asian population. Annandale even has a section called "Little Korea" for pete's sake.

To be fair, though, Alexandria is not fair from Arlington, and about the only people who can afford to live in either of them these days are trust fund babies.

You can easily extend that across the river to Arlington, VA. There's extensive public transportation. Cycling is taken seriously. Maybe the City of Alexandria, too; but, not the "Alexandria" part of Fairfax.

Outside of nova.
