While the article may have a pro Apple bias this comment exudes a negative Apple bias. Equally distasteful.

You're basically restating the conclusion of the piece.

The author states that this (presumably) intentional choice undermines the Apple brand that includes quality and uncompromisingly excellent user experience.

This is pretty brutal and disingenuous IMHO. If this is considered proper justification for flagging this post, I'm not surprised why there's such a positive Apple slant here.

The linked article shows an instance of Apple unambiguously, deliberately degrading user experience. It is highly relevant to this discussion.

That is a comment I would put in frame as one of the rare comment where he use a negative adjective about Apple's products.

This isn't cleverly anti-Apple, it's just petty. I have plenty a gripe against some things Apple does, but the piece here makes a net zero good points.

Lmao, well said. The bias against Apple in HN is strong

This seems gimicky and anti-Apple.

This is in bad taste from Apple.

What are you talking about? This isn't a pro-Apple article, despite its protective coloration. As you point out, the article isn't even about Apple. And the author hardly sounds like a partisan fan of Apple, or even of Linux. His tone is that of someone who is being forced to go on a particularly unpleasant diet.

This comment doesn’t defend Apple. It doesn’t make any value judgments about Apple at all. It merely attacks the article.

Are you interpreting that comment as supportive of Apple? I'm not...

The Apple hate is so strong here

Apple is not appealing.

The macrumors link is an article about an article which feels like a waste. Here's the WSJ article macrumors is "reporting" on...

People Have Begun to Love Apple’s Most Hated Product

>public image/perception among the tech crowd

I don't feel like Apple cares at all about perception among the tech crowd. So many things they champion draw the ire of us.

I know that you're a weird anti-Apple contrarian but it literally says this in the article that we're discussing here.

Apple haters.

You didn't actually read the article, did you? It makes a lot of very good and perfectly valid points.

Let me also guess - you own a Mac and an iPhone, and are mad because someone is saying bad things about your precious Apple. Correct?
