I wouldn't call ad blocking feature "revolutionary", but whatever.

I prefer "Sorta Ad-Block, Kinda".

No different from Google blocking "spam" while simultaneously targeting and delivering ads...

"No sir, we have absolutely no idea why anyone would ever use an ad blocker."

It's simply another way to block ads. Not better nor worse. A mental and technical exercise that's all.

It's the future (or perhaps the present) for those who don't install ad blockers.

Ad blockers weren't always ubiquitous.

A nice defense of a shady and failing business model. Ad blockers have worked just fine for a long time, and they're about to get a lot more widespread.

That sounds like it's going to be slower than not using an ad blocker at all.

"We noticed you're using an ad blocker..."

I'm usually quite against ad-blockers, but this kind of thing could be a step in the right direction.

Apparently "adblocking" is now a word.

I'll stick with my ad blocker if that's their logic.

That's the argument against ad blockers, and they seem reasonably popular, and accepted.

Popup blocking is basically standard and expected, don't see why ad blocking couldn't become so too.

Can't wait for the day someone invents a video ad blocker. Let's see if this guy will "get used" to that.

It seems equivalent to ad blocking.

In general, if you're proud of being "ad blocker-proof", you're probably the villain.

Probably 90% of users don't have any idea what an ad blocker is..

Not necessarily. But ultimately right now the level of mobile ad blocking is very low. This will make a real difference to that - regardless as to whether it's new or innovative.
