When the government is overthrown, they call it violence while those, who engage in the overthrowing call it a revolution.

It depends which way you look at it -- and most importantly, remember, the winner will be the narrator.

In this case the “revolution” is an attempt at the violent overthrow of an elected government because they don’t like that they lost.
