Hey HN, I have always wanted a simple task manager that would allow me to create nested lists and then automatically create gantt charts based on the estimated time of each task. That dream has now come to fruition and would love feedback of any kind!

If anyone is interested in using this software in a team I am looking for some in-depth feedback sessions where I would be happy to exchange a couple of months free membership for any number of users.

My only feedback is that the demo GIFs on the marketing page are small and hard to read on a phone, I wonder if that could be adjusted?

Oh, also…if you’re starting to get serious about this product, get yourself a custom domain email provider instead of Gmail.

Yep definitely, thanks for the feedback I appreciate it.

When the homepage of your "fast" product takes 5 seconds to load word-by-word marketing crap I just close the tab.

That actually is fast compared to jira

It pains me that you are correct.

The animation is actually 3 seconds. ;)

Understand how it could conflict with the "fast" adjective though, is anyone else put off by the animation?

Hiding information behind artificial loading times does not inspire confidence in the product. Consider which sort of person you are trying to convince and try to imagine what they would want, in this case I definitely think your audience would appreciate not waiting for "Simple. Fast. Elegant."

The animation has been removed, thanks both for you input. :)

Alternate opinion: I kind of liked the animation, but I can understand removing it, too.

Workflows?

No workflows as of it, I'm currently scouting out what the next "big" feature should be:

- Workflows

- Timesheets

- GitHub et al integrations?

Do you use workflows right now, with which piece of software if you don't mind me asking? :)

Uhm, isn't it too simple for $5/month per user?

Potentially, I've looked at Asana, Shortcut, Jira and a couple of others and this pricing seems accurate. Are there some features you are currently using that are missing? I'd be super keen to find out!

I would prefer to bury Jira, not to replace it. Julius Caesar style.
