It's a progression as old as time, is it not? This can be applied to so many other companies and even people in general.

Sort of. As an example I'm talking about Skyrim making $450m-$620m over 11 years and Fortnite making $3.7b in one year.

I don't believe they ever prioritized their tech ahead of their marketing campaigns.
