If Google deputized a VP to hunt you down and murder you in your sleep, that also would not violate HIPAA.

Also, the images uploaded to Google cloud were independent of sending the images to the doctor via his wife.

The (enterprise) cloud side of Google is a business associate (also covered in HIPAA) in some circumstances but I don't think that applies in this case.
