Nothing stops you from using mobile web browsers to access all these services (and, if you like to avoid notification hell on your mobile device, it's a lot cleaner since there are no notifications to suppress or counters to clear)

And on Android at least if you add to home screen, you have an icon and an app-ish experience.

Same with iOS (at least, if you make a shortcut with Safari ... haven't tried it when using another browser as the default)
