Yes, that's all you need. But that statement doesn't imply anything about the skills of the people, just the skills required to pass the interview. Great people can pass easy processes too.
The fact that you would arbitrarily extrapolate my statement into something broader that I clearly didn't state implies to me that you're close to the bottom of that threshold.
And I'm already wealthy and pseudo-retired after writing >million lines of code for a successfully exited startup, thanks. You do you.
Oh, sorry, I made a mistake talking to such a successful person like yourself, you wrote a million lines of code and you're wealthy! Wow, you seem like really secure and confident person Adam, retorting to self-praise when the topic at line has nothing to do with personal achievement. You sound like a real cool person to hang out with, must be nice to constantly hear about your "successfully exited startup"! I can only wish I had such a rich, successful friend like yourself.
Your brain doesn't work well. Re-read your post, you made a blanket statement "all you need" and claim that doesn't mean blanket statement. Ontop of the fact your original post implies all FAANG engineers suck (sorry, just because you add that it's from your experience doesn't change the meaning), you seem not to really have a logical brain.
But what can one expect from someone whose rich, you have other things to worry about, not use logic or reasoning!
