Dudes, check yourselves!!

I've always had a lump on my balls, like since when I was a kid. I think it's just where my vas connects? I don't feel anyone else's balls so I have no idea whether this is normal or not. I suspect there's a lot of other men (and if this study is to be believed, a lot of fellow spacemen) in the same situation.

It's probably just a cyst, but if you're outside of the US I'd consider having it scanned anyway. They can pop and rarely cause complications.

”Some risk factors during adolescence and adulthood have also been described, such as having an occupation as a fire-fighter, working with aircraft maintenance and marijuana smoking”

Firefighters and aircraft mechanics get exposed to high levels of PFAS, but what is the devil’s lettuce doing here?

Looked into it and they cite this study:

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle...

Which explicitly states that the link is unclear. So it seems to me like they're really grasping at straws here.

I mean, it's literally smoking? Inhaling burnt matter.

Burning anything releases carcinogens as far as I'm aware.

Last I saw epidemiological data, cannabis smokers had a slightly lower odds ratio for lung cancer (<1.0) than non-anything-smokers (=1.0), while tobacco smokers had an OR in the high single digits (>8.0)
