Consider r/redditseppuku

No capitalist platform will ever not do these things Reddit is doing. The desire for ease of use and the desire for quality are not compatible.

When I was a lad, my family always made sure I had good shoes. Not million dollar Jordans or any such horsepuckey, but a good set of Nikes or whatever.

One day I saw that there were shoes that you didn't have to lace, you could just pull a velcro flap. I don't know why but I had to have them, I made them take me to the store and I made the shoe guy get them for me, many people tried to stop me.

After like two hours in them,I knew I had made a mistake. I had never experienced not having good shoes before, as it turns out. Out of stubborn cussedness I wore them for several days, but pretty soon I had my old shoes on and the velcro was eventually forgotten.

People trying to save Reddit are basically the people at the Stubborn Cussedness phase of this process, but you will soon learn that The Capital is not going to give you back the nice thing you once had.

If you pick an instance and learn to use hashtags you can have a nice thing which no capital will be able to take from you, ever. Meta is about to try but they will not succeed. They are Ferengi, assimilated by Borg. We are The Federation. Join us, on a non-Meta instance. I'd avoid the big ones at this point, there's a fight coming with those guys.
