i never understand how people use the internet without adblockers, it's a totall different experience. do they just not value their time and mental bandwidth at all? same thing for people who watch TV with commercials every 8 minutes
I also don't understand it, but have been lectured by people many times about how unethical it is to block ads and how doing so makes one a "free rider".
I wonder if they also feel the same way if they look the other way when they notice a billboard ad on the motorway. This stockholm-syndrome w.r. to big companies goes a long way.
Google would suggest people have an incredibly high threshold for such shenanigans
